The number of local authorities we work with continues to grow, as an increasing number of authorities become aware of the extremely high quality of care and treatment we provide, coupled with excellent value for money.

Bosence is a not for profit charity, meaning that any excess funds generated are re-invested into service development and enrichment of our treatment programmes. Our 22-acre site set in beautiful Cornish gardens and woodlands, enables us to offer a varied and diverse programme of activities.

Our detoxification and stabilisation facility is staffed by a 24/7 nursing team, meaning that we can meet the needs of those who may otherwise require a hospital detoxification programme.

National Pick-up Service

We offer a national pick-up service for clients beginning treatment for both our Inpatient Detoxification & Stabilisation and Residential Rehabilitation treatment programmes. There is a small cost involved to cover fuel only, around £60 from London as an example.

The client is picked up from their home address on the morning of admission and transported to Bosence. This service has proven to be very popular and operates on a weekly basis. Several clients who have made use of the service have cited how it has helped to alleviate much of the anxiety associated with coming into treatment.

Our driver liaises with the client beforehand to ensure there is familiarity, and along with our admissions team will be able to answer any questions the client may have.

In the last year we have provided our Pick-up service to clients referred by the following authorities:

Bracknell Forest, Devon, Dorset, Ealing, Hartlepool, Hillingdon, Hull, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Poole, Slough and Suffolk.
