We provide treatment to men and women over the age of 17 across the organisation. We accept applications from both private and funded individuals from a range of different backgrounds.
Our programmes are suitable for individuals seeking an abstinence-based residential treatment programme to achieve lasting recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.
If you have made the decision to seek treatment at any of our services, the process for making a referral is straight forward and requires you only to complete a very short application form. You can click here to download a copy.
We offer a variety of treatment options to meet your individual need. Our detoxification programme is typically 2 to 4 weeks in duration, while our post detoxification residential rehabilitation programme may be between 6 to 24 weeks.
We delivered a structured daily treatment programme at each of our services which includes: Individual key working sessions, group therapy, assignments and workshops.
We have established links with several local organisations, enabling us to provide you with opportunities to gain new skills and interests, as well as to access training and education. We can also support you to attend community recovery groups such as NA/AA and SMART Recovery.
There are visits to local attractions and places of interest. Our spacious 22 acres grounds allow us to offer a diverse range of on-site activities including:
- Complimentary Therapies: Mindfulness, Auricular Acupuncture, Yoga and Tai-Chi.
- DIY, arts & crafts, pottery gardening & music workshops.
- A horticulture project to support and promote enjoyment of the surrounding environment, with weekly educational sessions.
- A sensory garden and woodland walk.
- A volunteer project where volunteers from the local community, along with ex-residents, provide mentoring through a range of projects.

We provide support to help you identify sources of on-going help once you have completed your treatment at Bosence. This may include on-going engagement with AA, NA, CA and SMART Recovery.
You may also engage with a post treatment community residential programme, provided by your drug and alcohol community team in your local area.
We also offer weekly zoom aftercare sessions for a period of 6 months after you’ve completed treatment. These sessions take place via zoom every Tuesday afternoon and are facilitated by our counselling team. At any point in the future you are encouraged to call.
We offer single room accommodation at both our Inpatient Detoxification and Residential Rehabilitation services. The rooms at Bosence Detoxification & Stabilisation are single en-suite throughout. The rooms at Bosence Rehabilitation are single, with private communal bathroom and shower facilities.
