You can hear from Tim in his own words below:

September has been an incredibly transformative month for me, as I had the privilege of attending the Compassionate Inquiry Internal Conference in Bucharest from September 20th to 22nd. This conference, exclusively for graduates and current learners of the Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training program, was a deeply healing experience that left me feeling connected, inspired, and hopeful for the future of Bosence.

Reflections from the Compassionate Inquiry Conference The conference featured powerful sessions led by Dr. Gabor Maté, including his keynote speech and workshops that explored themes of identity, shame, anger, and healing. Throughout the three days, I witnessed the profound power of connection and compassion. From workshops on working with autoimmune disease, chronic pain, and cancer to discussions around polyvagal safety and self-compassion, the energy in the room was palpable. People heal when they are met with compassion, and this experience reminded me of the heart of the work we do at Bosence.

The Energy of Connection One of the most impactful aspects of the conference was the energy of connection that flowed between attendees. As I participated in various workshops, including those on shame, self-compassion, and working with trauma, I was reminded of the same sense of connection and support that we strive to foster at Bosence. The recovery community we’ve built at Bosence is one where people feel seen, heard, and supported—mirroring the healing environment I experienced at the conference. The sense of belonging and mutual understanding was a powerful reminder of why the work we do is so meaningful.

Looking Ahead with Hope I return from the Compassionate Inquiry Conference feeling renewed and full of hope. The lessons I’ve learned about compassion, connection, and the possibilities for healing have inspired me to explore new ways to integrate these principles into our work at Bosence. As we continue to grow and evolve as a service, I am excited about the potential to deepen our practice and to continue creating a space where clients feel empowered to heal.

I return from the Compassionate Inquiry Conference feeling renewed and filled with hope. The insights gained from this experience have inspired me to explore new ways of integrating compassion, self-reflection, and connection into our programs at Bosence. I believe these values will continue to strengthen our practice and deepen the healing environment we offer to our clients.
