Francesca Haydon

Francesca Haydon

Francesca moved to Cornwall in 2001 and has enjoyed a career mainly as a psychological therapist in GP surgeries and in later years as senior manager of Outlook Southwest, an NHS talking therapies service across Cornwall.

For the past few years she has been employed as a mental health inspector for the Care Quality Commission (CQC), visiting and regulating NHS and private mental health services across the south of the UK. This has given her a good insight into what good care looks like and how to improve it. Francesca held a portfolio of mainly mental health trusts and substance misuse services including Bosence Farm. She has worked with Bosence as its inspector for a few years now and that's how she came to know and value its unique and caring service.

Francesca is now semi retired now but still works as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. She lives with her husband and three cats, enjoys swimming, crochet, gardening, cooking and the beautiful beaches of Cornwall.
